Building Information Modeling Fundamentals I

This course provides a broad introduction to BIM (Building Information Modeling). BIM is defined and the evolution of BIM is contrasted with traditional methods. The various dimensions of BIM throughout the project lifecycle and global, national, and regional adoption trends are presented. Other topics include benefits of BIM for design change management and potential of BIM to improve sustainability.
